Aesthetic Effect

The Key Centre of Design Computing and Cognition at the University of Sydney is conducting a research project on the aesthetic of information visualization. The primary aim of this research is to investigate whether a consistent aesthetic ranking can be established between different methods of information visualization.

You will be asked to review a number of different visualizations on a computer monitor for a standard period of time. While viewing these visualizations, you will be asked to input your perceptions of these visualizations and how you are interpreting what is being displayed. At the conclusion of viewing these visualizations, you will be asked to rank the individual visualizations on a scale of one to ten using your web browser.
