Recommended literature: Designing design, Kenya Hara

Amazing(ly designed) book on the fundamentals of rediscovering the concept of objects around us in our every day lives, that we have grown to taken for granted as they are. For instance, it tells of our concept of "glass". We know what a glass is when we see it, but when we're to design one, we wonder what exactly what it is we need to do, and we feel the solid ground slowly slip away underneath us: because what do we know of glass? When is a glass a glass and when is it a dish? Kenya assures us that we haven't grown stupid on the subject of glass; to the contrary: we've just become aware and therefore more knowledgeable of how complex it is to design one.
